2023 Intense Cycles Sniper XC FRO XL

The Sniper FRO has one purpose – to race. Built on the progressive Sniper XC frame, we've set out to create one of the lightest production full-suspension XC bikes on the market.

Featuring the new Rockshox Sid SL Ultimate Fork, Sid Luxe Ultimate RL shock, and a full Sram AXS XX1 drivetrain, the Sniper FRO is ready to leave it all out on the race course. It loves going uphill but always has one eye on the descents. A longer top tube, shorter stem, wider bars, lower bottom bracket, and slacker head angle all make for an exciting yet balanced bike. It is a complete system that is designed to work as one.

• MODERN DAY XC

It’s all about geometry. Long, low, and slack is no longer just for the downhill crowd, it’s the ‘new normal’ for XC trail bikes too. Truly a game-changer. We believe that short-travel bikes should descend like their long-travel siblings, so we created an XC trail bike with an aggressive DH spirit with the Sniper XC.

• LIGHT, FAST, AGILE, FUN

We know that riding the Sniper will fill you with confidence. Climbing, descending, or cruising along… it does it all with powerful yet efficient ease. The way the Sniper covers the ground so quickly and effortlessly is inspiring, and it is nothing short of a revelation on the descents.

• OPTIMIZED PEDALING

For the Sniper XC, our engineering team focused on optimized pedaling performance, tweaking the shock tune to suit typical XC riding terrain. The suspension was designed for supple sensitivity on small bumps, mid-support for hard pedaling efficiency in and out of the saddle, and a good progression through the end of the stroke.

• THE JS TUNED XC LINK

What this means is that you get a supple and sensitive ride that initially absorbs small bumps, then seamlessly moves into a supportive mid-stroke platform (which helps to maintain ride height) and finally into a controlled ramp-up towards bottom-out. All this translates into a very predictable ride that offers plenty of support, can tackle anything, and gives endless grip in all situations.

• COMPLIMENTARY TOOL BOX

Every INTENSE bike comes with it’s own complimentary toolbox(sent separately), which includes all the tools you will need to build and maintain your bike – a 3-way Y-Wrench Multi-Hex/Allen tool, high pressure shock pump, torque wrench and a selection of Philips, Hex/Allen and Torx drivers/bits. We also supply sealant and valves to convert your tires to a tubeless setup.
